Broadly speaking room lighting can be broken into two styles: Pillars of Light and Color Wash Lighting

• Pillars of light around the perimeter of the room frame your space. Pillars of light can also accent special features and/or architectural details at your venue to create additional interest. Overall, they add depth and dimension and heighten the drama and vibe of your event.
• Color wash lighting sets an ambiance and creates an atmosphere that envelopes your event for that event glow / party atmosphere. The tone and vibe of color wash lighting permeates the room and anchors the energy of your event.

Broadly speaking entertainment lighting can be broken into two styles: Stage lighting and Dance floor lighting

• Concert Stage Lighting sets the stage for your band and/or DJ. Stage lighting sets your entertainment apart from the rest of your space providing interest and drama for enhanced performance excitement.
• Dance floor lighting (utilizing moving intelligent lights) creates energy, excitement and movement on the dance floor.

• What is your lighting goal… accent lighting or enveloping atmosphere/vibe lighting?

Room lighting:
Pillars of light - Roughly 10 feet apart
Color Wash - Roughly 5 feet apart

Set the stage:
Highlight your band and DJ by back lighting and framing the stage/performance area.
This can be accomplished with a relatively small light show but it pays tremendous dividends in terms of energy, presence and excitement.

Concert lighting:
Lighting set on stands/towers/trusses brings stage lighting to a new level. Color wash lights, spot lights, and/or moving (intelligent) lights all designed to taste

Dance Floor Lighting:
Moving intelligent lighting set on stands/towers/trusses to highlight and frame your dance floor… fire!!! and designed to taste!!!
