Majority of our guests went out of their way to commend the band at our wedding, even our international guests for whom we were concerned about only playing English-language music. We largely gave the band free rein to play what they deemed to be the right music for the party at any point in time, and we are glad that we did not micromanage on this topic. The band read the room full of people of all ages, interacted with the crowd to bring our guests together, and played beautifully to keep the dance floor busy until the very last song.

Everyone, of all nationalities and languages, had a blast on the dance floor, in great part due to the infectious energy and excitement that the band brought (in heaps!) to the party.

We originally had an extensive selection process to find the music vendor for our wedding. At the end, we are very glad we worked with Rich and the NY Edge team. We cannot imagine having any other band to celebrate our special day.

Rich, Shanti & the New York Edge -
What can we say?! The dust has settled, we have returned from our two week honeymoon and the last thing to do is thank you notes!

From the minute we walked down the aisle, until the end of the night, you, Shanti and New York Edge set the tone of the wedding. The three piece trio was the perfect addition to the ceremony and cocktail hour. Once the party got started, it was a non-stop dance party. EVERYONE was up on the dance floor, singing, dancing (sweating their butts off!) and having a total blast!

Friends and family keep telling us how amazing you all were and we are so thankful you were with us to create the perfect party to celebrate our marriage. You guided us through the chaos of wedding planning and we can't thank you enough! We enjoyed every minute of the night and we have you, Shanti and the New York Edge to thank! Your experience and knowledge when it comes to throwing a wedding was invaluable, not only as a band but as a vendor who has performed at thousands of events.
